I once heard someone compare buying a home to childbirth. It’s such a long painful process, but it’s so worth it in the end. What a terrible comparison! What’s even worse is that most of us can nod in agreement with it. Buying a home shouldn’t be a painful process. Whether you’re purchasing your first home or planning for retirement, I can make the home buying/selling process feel like a walk in the park.

Before we began our first house hunt, my husband and I tirelessly asked friends and family for advice, from where to look, how much to spend, how to finance and the list went on. We asked for it and we certainly got it. We felt more confused than we had before! Long story short, my husband, with significantly less hair then he started with and I, almost owning stock in chocolate ice cream, found our way through the maze and purchased our first investment property.

Our second attempt resulted in the purchase of our family dream house and it was a completely different experience. We had a much better understanding of what to expect and felt prepared for almost anything. Since we understood the process we began to evaluate and value service with more intensity.
